Job Description: Head Veterinary Nurse

Personal Info: Serena studied veterinary nursing in Sydney, Australia and graduated in 2000. She worked in a busy small animal practice in Sydney for 5 years. In April 2005 she left to work on a lion conservation program in Zimbabwe. Serena joined the Well Animal Clinic as Head Nurse in June 2006. She has a special interest in animal dentistry and has just completed her advanced veterinary nursing dentistry qualification. Serena is a qualified clinical coach of student nurses. She has a menagerie at home in Australia, consisting of her 3 dogs Abby, Charlie and Muchacho, and Onyx the cat. She hopes to bring them all over to the UK as soon as she finds a suitcase big enough.

Job Description: Veterinary Nurse

Personal Info: Lisa has been working as a Veterinary Nurse since 1989 and joined WAC & Blythwood in 2008. She started locum nursing in 2007 & enjoyed working within the team so much that she now works part-time within the Bushey, Hatch End & Well Animal Clinic Surgeries. During this time she has also worked for Hill's Pet Nutrition - gaining a qualification in Small Animal Nutrition & Purina PetCare within the Customer Care & Events Team where she gained an NVQ. After leaving nutrition, Lisa worked within a charity - training assistance dogs to help disabled people & finally realised her dream of working with Bears when she was lucky enough to travel to China & volunteered within a Panda & a Moon-Bear Sanctuary. Outside of work Lisa has a clutter of cats of varying ages but all are Exotic Short-haired. Edmund, Saffy & (the newest addition) Kaspar keep Lisa occupied at home. She is also able to indulge her other passions of music & photography by going to gigs & taking photos of her boyfriend's band!

Kim Dale  BSc (Hons) RVN

Job Description: Veterinary Nurse

Personal Info: Kim was born and raised in Suffolk and moved to London following the completion of her 4 year Veterinary Nursing degree at the Royal Veterinary College. Kim joined the Well Animal Clinic team in April 2010. Kim has a cat called Mowgli who she hand reared after he was found abandoned with his litter mates. Back in Suffolk she has a shitzu X poodle called Rupert and 2 lop eared bunnies called Buttercup and Daisy whom she gets back home to visit as often as possible so they remember her!!

Nicola Black  Student veterinary Nurse

Job Description: Student Veterinary Nurse

Personal Info: Nicola Black joined us in January 2008, having worked as a veterinary nursing assistant for several years. She is registered with the RCVS and is now studying veterinary nursing at the College Of Animal Welfare in Potters Bar. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with friends and family (including her Cairn Terrier Ally and cat Willow) has a keen interest in music and dancing.
